Insert Witty ‘House’ Quote Here

I had no idea there was a way to find out universal ratings for TV shows, but of course there just is no end to technology!

‘House’ is world’s most popular TV show

One word: AWESOME.

I’m pumped for the series to return this Fall.. hopefully the show won’t have jumped the shark with House in a mental hospital.

There are also only four more episodes left for me to watch from Season 1. Not sure if I should follow up with season 2 or start watching another TV show. 30 Rock, maybe? I’ve always wanted to see what the fuss is about.

Nerd Alert

Nerd Alert

It’s been a while since a magazine cover has been able to generate a genuine “laugh out loud” moment from me. Yet that is exactly what happened when I picked up this week’s Entertainment Weekly out of the pile of mail today.

Get it? Get it? No? Oh…Well, I laughed at the “What don’t you #!&@% understand” which is a reference to the now infamous Christian Bale rant. Isn’t it fishy, though, that if some actress had thrown this hissy fit she would probably no longer have a career? Hmmm makes you wonder.

Either way, Bale Out will never get old! It should win a Grammy, no joke. Or is there a special Techno Awards out there?

For the record, I will probably not be seeing Terminator Salvation because I have never seen any of the Terminator films. Just does not appeal to me. However, I do think I’d like to see Angel & Demons (hooray for normal Robert Langdon hair!). And maybe there will be some protesters to make things just that much more interesting?

A New Look

A New Look

I am finally free from the clutches of schoolwork and ready to start devoting more time to this little domain…and all the other sites, actually! It’s nearly summer so a new layout felt only right. Although you’ll have to excuse my the header that was put together in less than 5 minutes (in case you weren’t able to tell). My graphical skills are extremely uninspiring.

While May is obviously one of the greatest months there is, there is also a lot of sadness in May….because that’s when shows have their season finales!

House finale on Monday: What could be more shocking than Kutner killing himself!?

Hells Kitchen finale on Thursday: I will miss seeing Gordon Ramsey’s face on my TV and his voice blaring out of the speakers. The contestants I don’t care much for although both Paula and Danny are good chefs.

American Idol finale in two weeks: KRADAM top two, thank you very much. If we end up with a Gokey/Adam finale then I am convinced the show is 100% rigged. Therefore, you better believe my fingers will be working like mad next week voting for Kris!

Geez, I wonder who that is?

Britney

Two of my better photos from the night!

The show was amazing and I’m so happy I’ve finally seen Britney in concert. It rounds up my 90′s trifecta perfectly: Backstreet, Spice Girls, and Britney. The only ones that mattered!

Anyways, back to the show – it was just really, really cool. The “Circus” theme worked really well even though she only sang three songs off that album. She sang (I use that word loosely) most of her popular songs, although I would’ve loved to hear Oops I Did it Again and Drive Me Crazy.

The only crazy/weird thing Britney did was shout out “Merry Christmas!” during one of the songs. And thanks to the awesome powers of YouTube, you can relive the moment over and over again here (around :50)! At least we know her microphone was on at some points during the show…
